Hampton Inn Cleveland, TN

The whole place and our room were very clean, and the stay was fine, though nothing really stood out as exceptional. Breakfast was sparse, with the cases not full and a generally weak selection. At another Hampton where we stayed for four nights in West Virginia, there was fresh mixed fruit in the morning, a welcome surprise since healthy hotel breakfast options are usually hard to find. The unusual part here was the key card maker, which had apparently stopped working a week before we arrived. Corporate or someone else still hadn’t repaired or replaced it, so staff had to escort guests and unlock their rooms with master cards every time. Micah was working the evening we arrived and was cordial, friendly, and helpful. The staff had figured out a routine and stayed positive, though I’m sure they’ll be relieved when it’s fixed.

Kim at guest services on the front desk was so sweet. She always had a smile and did whatever she could to make us comfortable. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful too, and the indoor pool was warm enough for the kids to have a blast. My husband and I stayed with our three boys while visiting the area, and the staff went above and beyond. This was the best hotel experience we’ve had in all our travels so far. We’ll stay here again if we come back to the Cleveland area.

We’ve stopped here on our way to Florida and again on the way back. The rooms are nice and clean, the price is reasonable, and the pool is warm. Kim at the front desk is probably the sweetest person I’ve ever met. Definitely recommend!

The shower and room were very clean, the breakfast was top notch, and the people were great. Shout-out to Marissa at the front desk, she was extremely nice and funny.
