Roland and Mary Ann Martin Resort

I’ve been fishing out of Roland Martin since I was a kid, and I don’t plan to stop. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the boat ramps are so close you could throw a rock and hit them. The tiki bar has excellent food and drinks, plus live bands on certain nights. It’s a great spot. I highly recommend bringing the family. Fish on!

I’ve stayed in all their lodging options over the years, from park model trailers and motel or efficiency rooms to nice condos, and I’ve never had a complaint. The Martin family made a great place for both fishermen and travelers, with choices for different budgets and preferences. The store and tackle shop are well stocked, and the marine service center does all it can to get anglers back on the water when they need help. They also have experienced, talented guides. The Tiki is one of my favorite places to eat. If you’re fishing Lake Okeechobee or just passing through and need a night’s stay, put this place high on your list. They’ve never let me down.

The whole crew made us feel like family. Jessica and Brandon went above and beyond to make the visit special for my son, my wife, and me. Capt Sam, the dock master, is a great guy I could talk with for hours. Lunch at the tiki was so good that we went back for dinner, and we had a blast in the great atmosphere. A special thanks to Laura Martin and Scott Martin, too. Scott took time to hang out with Beckett and talk fishing. Beckett hasn’t taken his hat off or stopped talking about meeting you. You made his vacation one he’ll never forget. Everyone was amazing and friendly. We had a wonderful stay at Roland Martin marina and will absolutely be back next March.

We had a big, clean hotel room with a kitchen. Check-in staff were great, and the wait staff at the tiki bar were great too. Dinner was thumbs up, and the laid-back vibe was lovely. This was our first trip, and we’ll definitely make it an annual one.
