Best Western Grande River Inn & Suites

The room was comfortable and clean, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fabulous, with lots of choices, and the breakfast staff were helpful and kept everything well stocked. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

I was nervous about stopping at a Best Western in the middle of nowhere, but walking in put me at ease. It was clean and cute, with a little courtyard and rooms that technically open to the outside but all face inward. Our room felt cozy, and breakfast was fine, like hotel breakfast usually is. My husband and I were in a pinch. Our baby was screaming, we were only halfway to our destination, and we just didn’t want to keep traveling. We’ll probably stick with Best Westerns in the future.

The location made it easy to reach the highway, downtown Grand Junction, and Palisade. The customer service was great, and the bed was comfortable enough for our quick stay. Parking was a little crowded the night we were there, and it was pretty obvious we’d been given a dog-friendly room. Still, it was a good stay. I’d give it 4.5 if I could.

We got to the Best Western and found the pool and hot tub out of order, with no warning beforehand. The front desk didn’t help or offer us a way to cancel. The bathroom was dirty too, with fecal residue in the toilet and liquid on the seat, so we had to clean it ourselves before we could use it. A very disappointing stay.
