Lorraine was such a friendly face and had great suggestions for things to do. Giancarlo was just as kind and courteous, helped with my bags, and happily answered my questions about the house's history and its lovely collection, mostly from Europe and Italy. Millbrook’s hosts made the stay so welcoming. I'd definitely recommend Millbrook County House for a visit to the area.

We enjoyed our stay enough to book another one for next month. The gardens were beautiful, and we had breakfast outside, which was delicious. Inside, the 1808 home was well cared for, with large rooms and lovely Italianate period furniture throughout. Giancarlo and his wife were gracious hosts. We had a wonderful time.

Giancarlo makes and serves the afternoon tea and breakfast, and he's a warm, caring, hospitable proprietor. Lorraine and Giancarlo are both wonderful hosts. Their inn is filled with antiques and rare books, many from Europe, especially Italy. I highly recommend staying there.

Giancarlo took great care of us over a pleasant weekend in beautiful Millbrook. The 1808 mansion has Italian Baroque furnishings. On a rainy Saturday evening, we picked up pizza from nearby trattoria San Giorgio and a bottle at the Millbrook wine store, then had a nice dinner in the dining room.

The owners, one Italian and one American, were very pleasant, and the authentic 18th-century Italian furniture is beautiful. There are four rooms upstairs: three have private bathrooms inside the rooms, while the fourth has its own bathroom just outside. It's a cute, pleasant little bed and breakfast and a great place to stay.
