The rooms were comfortable, with plush blankets and soft towels, and there was plenty of parking. It's a chic hotel just off the coast, with easy access right on 101. It was quiet, too, since there weren't many cars by the time you get this far north. Breakfast was mediocre, but at least it was an option.

The room was right beside the laundry and vending area, which was inconvenient, and its door rattled with every little movement, waking me up through the night. Still, it was a wonderful stay. The Inn was clean, the location was perfect, breakfast was complimentary, and the staff were very friendly. They helped us find things we were looking forward to doing during our visit.

We had no complaints during our three nights here. The room was huge and comfortable, and the hotel is charming, older, and well kept. It's also a great base for visiting Redwoods National Park. Highly recommend it.

4.5 stars. The rooms are very spacious and clean, with a microwave and fridge, and the service was good. It's a different property from the Oceanview Motel down the road, but the buildings and rooms feel like they were put together by the same people in 1973: same carpet, same 1973 bedspread. There were fewer people back in 1973, when that bedspread was designed. If you like the Oceanview, you'll like the Lighthouse, and vice versa.

The service was great, and the place was clean and not expensive. I'd stay here again. If you're hoping to see Redwoods, ask about Howland Hill Rd. They told us we could travel 10 miles and see massive, old growth Redwoods. It was amazing!
