The place looked old and unkempt, but I went ahead and booked a couple of rooms for my guys and me. Big mistake. Within half an hour, I found and killed a lot of small roaches. The front desk brushed me off when I raised the issue. The owner tried to dismiss my concern, saying nobody had ever complained about roaches, then said an exterminator had been there that same morning. I asked to cancel the reservation, but they kept refusing. This was one of the worst places I've stayed, if not the worst. Avoid it.

My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. At checkout I had to ask for both the review information and my receipt. The older Middle Eastern woman who checked me in seemed standoffish and somewhat rude, and appeared eager to get me out of her face. She didn't want to talk about reviews or provide the receipt until I asked.
