The breakfast was awful, with eggs and sausage that seemed microwaved. The rooms were in bad shape too: one smelled like vomit, another like body odor, the beds were hard, and pool noodles had been taped to the frame. There was black stuff on the shower ceiling, the first light in our room didn't work, and the walls and ceiling were so thin we could hear kids running around after 11 p.m. Construction started pounding away by 9 on Saturday morning. When we arrived, staff were smoking outside the front door, and the hallway smelled like smoke. We were there with a hockey team.

The hot tub has reportedly been out of order for months, and although there's a sign apologizing for remodeling, I didn't see any work being done. There was mold in the bathroom, the showers wouldn't drain, and the included breakfast was cold. Duct tape covered the carpet seams in the rooms. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place is nasty! 😝

I've always liked the AmericInn line, but this stay was horrible. I found filth, mildew, mold, and dead bugs. The lighting was so poor and there was no sunlight coming in, so I couldn't see the problems until I checked with my phone flashlight. They offered me either a $35 or $37 discount for one night and an air purifier, but I didn't care about that. I checked out the same evening when I started finding the issues. A little dust is one thing, but this seemed like a real health hazard.

I haven't stayed here yet, but Aiden at the front desk deserves a mention. I've been comparing hotels and calling around a month ahead, and he patiently answered all my questions without making me feel judged. He was kind and genuinely helpful. Thanks, Aiden!
