Econo Lodge Cloverdale

We were traveling from another state. As soon as we entered the room, we had to kill a spider, and a couple of hours later there were three more, including one brown spider. We asked to move rooms, but were told there weren't any left. The guy was rude and acted like we were lying. We had to pack up my two kids and find another hotel, though luckily we managed to get one.

It was a safe place to spend the night while traveling, with easy parking close to the room. Check-in and checkout were smooth, and the employees were cordial. The room was basically clean and there were no bugs, though it looked a little worn. The old bathtub had rust around the drain, but there was plenty of hot water for a shower.

My family stays here when they visit from out of state, and they have only good things to say about Econo lodge. The rooms are very clean and sanitary, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly. The nonsmoking rooms don't smell of smoke, which matters to me because I use breathing treatments. Breakfast could have more variety, and it would be nice to see frequent guests get a discount as a thank-you. Still, I have no real complaints and only good things to say. Thumbs up!

It was a terrible experience. We didn't stay because the room wasn't clean.
