Super 8 Cloverdale

It met the expectations of a hotel advertised as two stars. The location was convenient to the Interstate, with plenty of parking, and the room was fairly comfortable. Cleanliness was my main complaint: the room smelled like the floor had been mopped with stale water, and the upstairs stairs needed vacuuming. Breakfast was acceptable, but nothing special. I posted a similar review on the Wyndham website, and hotel management replied very nicely and said they would address the concerns.

All we wanted was a good night’s rest, and one night was enough for us. The bed springs were broken, and the mattress pad bunched up beneath a fitted sheet that was too small for the bed. The lounge chairs by the pool were torn and tattered too. It really feels like management doesn’t care about the overall guest experience. The hotel needs a lot of TLC.

The TV didn’t work, and the door cards kept failing even after I got several replacements.

Stayed three nights straight, no cap, no plants at all. Breakfast was good, and the attendant told us to go ahead and have at it, saying they’d put more out if they ran low. That’s exactly what work crews want to hear.
