Fairfield Inn And Suites Fresno Clovis

For a high school trip in March, I coordinated a room block with the hotel. The staff were wonderful and made sure we had what we needed, including parking for our 16’ box truck. They let us bring in catering and use the breakfast room for dinners. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the parents enjoyed the courtyard with roses around it.

The room was already 79 degrees when I arrived after a long day of travel, even though I’d checked in virtually and given an estimated arrival time. That was not a welcoming way to walk in. The suite had an older exterior wall AC box, and it blew right onto the bed with a strong mold or mildew smell. Since there was no vent in the living area, it stayed warmer than the bedroom. The layout just wasn’t good. The shower grout needed a proper scrub. There was no bathroom fan, and the awkward positioning of the entry and bathroom doors made it hard to leave the bathroom door open. I’d booked the most expensive room hoping for better, but I was disappointed. If I have to return to the area, I’ll stay somewhere else.

Nice place. Breakfast ends too early, so it's easy to sleep through it. They do have free hot chocolate and cookies, though!

The rooms were a little dated, but exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds, a spotless bathroom, and a good breakfast selection. The hotel was bright, had plenty of parking, and the area felt safe. I get wary booking somewhere unfamiliar, but this town was very nice and I felt comfortable here. We arrived around 10 PM after a long drive from LA, and I was ready to sleep. The woman who checked us in was a delight, and the staff were so kind and accommodating. The clean, welcoming lobby had a fun corner with cowboy hats and a photo backdrop that made the place feel homey. I loved the hotel, and if I’m ever back in the area, it’ll be my first choice. Don’t hesitate to book here!
