Our room key gave us trouble, and the lock is an old-fashioned regular key instead of a card lock. It could use an update. The room, though, was spotless. The housekeepers were so nice, and you can tell they go above and beyond to keep things clean. For cleanliness, I'd give it a definite 10 out of 10.

For $75, it's hard to beat. The place is a little run down, but the people were so kind and accommodating. My room had a few problems, and they fixed things for me. I'd stay there again.

After an eight-hour drive, my group and I arrived close to 1 in the morning and had to look for another hotel. We'd booked two rooms four hours before getting there, but the office was empty. Phone numbers were posted, but nobody answered, and there was no notice saying check-in wasn't available after a certain time. Don't count on getting into a room once the office closes. This had happened at the same place before, four months earlier. If I'd recognized it, I would've canceled right away. The hospitality was awful from the start.

The mattresses were questionable, and all three TVs were out of order. Two rooms were dirty, with nasty-looking stuff in the grout around the tubs and showers, hair and lint packed into the wall-mounted dryers, and very old carpet. The third room had newer laminate flooring, like in the Google Photos. Two rooms had no working heater on a 22° night, and two had no hot water. One room's bedside lamps didn't work either. Dirt surrounded the door knobs, and big gaps let cold air in. Two of the rooms marked non-smoking smelled strongly of smoke. We checked out at 5:30am and called the office once it opened to ask for a partial refund. They said they'd talk to the manager, then hung up. Twelve hours later, there'd been no reply. When we called before our stay, the office said there were no military, AAA, or other discounts because they were the cheapest around and had very clean rooms. That wasn't what we found. We picked this place because it sounded like a nice change after four nights at Super 8. Save your money and go to Motel 6.
