Antler Inn

The rooms were clean, and the price was better than many nearby hotels. Right in historic downtown Jackson, it's within walking distance of shops and bars, with a small grocery store directly across the street. Housekeeping sometimes came a little early, though I sleep in on vacation. I'd absolutely stay here again.

The staff were really nice and always had great food and activity recommendations. We loved the location, and our room was comfortable and clean. I'd recommend the place, and we'd choose to stay here again.

The staff were wonderful and nice, and I liked that they let us leave our car parked there until check-in so our stuff could stay in it. We were pleasantly surprised by breakfast, with lots of snacks and varied choices, including plenty of gluten-free options. The location was excellent, walkable to everything, but tucked in the back so it didn't feel noisy. It's a very solid motel in Jackson, though I still found it very overpriced, which seems to be the trend there.

The rooms are large, very clean, and quaint, with nice rustic wood furnishings. The beds and bedding were super comfortable, and our room even had a real working fireplace with wood, though we didn't use it in the warm fall weather. Parking was easy and the location was awesome. For a two star hotel, this place is great. It doesn't look that fancy from the outside as a motor motel, but it surprised us, so don't judge a book by its cover.
