A few years ago I stayed here with my folks, and it was just okay. My husband and I came back a few weeks ago, and the place has changed so much. They’ve clearly put in a lot of work: wood floors, flat TVs, fresh paint, and best of all, the same smiling faces from last time. Any doubts I had from our earlier stay are gone. We’ll stop here every time now, and I’ll recommend it to others.

The people who run the place are really charming and friendly. The best part of our extended stay is the AC unit: noisy as all get out, but it works great. The rooms and furnishings are old and rickety, and the floors aren’t level. They only clean the rooms once a week.

The couple who run the place are really great, and the outside is always clean and orderly. I just wish they cleaned the rooms more than once a week. Also, there’s no pool.

I’ve never stayed here myself, but our friends Harsha and Jay manage the place and they’re great people. We’ve even helped them get contracts for their business.

The owner is veeery nice, but this place is very old and run down, and they don’t offer room service. There isn’t much to choose from in Coalinga, though. The other motels are just as bad.
