I was worried that our group of 30-somethings, drinking, yelling and cursing while playing spikeball and cornhole around the pool, would annoy everyone. The residents were kind, accepting, and even interested in our antics. After a while, people in my group started chatting with the others who lived there. Joe was helpful and well meaning, and Noah and one of the kids were welcoming when they cleaned out our glamping tent. It felt like a generous, positive community where people come to get away and have some space for themselves. The first thing that caught me off guard was how much it felt like a neighborhood in the woods rather than a secluded campground. There were people on porches, working on projects, around the pool, or walking dogs, so you were rarely out of sight or earshot of anyone. The property is large, with a mix of homes and rentals, and we never really explored the east half. I needed a little time to get my bearings. The setup is thoughtful and well cared for. The new campground bathrooms and showers are solid, and the pool area is clean, with a lovely lawn and good facilities. We rented the Mooncat Tiny House and Glamping Tent, both cute, well designed, and nicely proportioned. The kitchen had Japanese knives and Staub & Le Creuset cookware. There's mesh WiFi across the property, though it wasn't reliable enough for Zoom. Even older buildings are looked after. Things feel lived in rather than luxurious, but nothing is run down. I found Pine Grove Resort while looking for a place to host a summer camp themed trip with my fiancee and a couple dozen friends. The reviews were sparse and mixed, though the online photos looked beautiful. I emailed Joe about the event and he was quick to respond, helpful, and generous. I'd recommend the place, and I hope it stays around for years. It could be a great quiet weekend spot when we have young kids. Thanks for being such great hosts, Joe, Noah, & everyone!

This place was dirty, and I didn't see clean facilities or any sanitizing stations. I don't think they know what sanitary means. I watched a woman yell at a young girl, and I think she fired her right then. It was totally unprofessional. The fries I ordered were terrible too, so don't get them.

The owner was friendly and great, and the whole area had welcoming people. We camped in a cabin for the first time and had an awesome stay. The kitchen was fully supplied, so I didn't need any of the things I'd brought from home. I was concerned about pests, but they weren't a problem. The location was great and we didn't feel like heading home. Come enjoy it, you'll love it.

The bathrooms and showers were really nice and clean, though don't forget bug repellent. I went for a spiritual women's campout. There are two spring fed pools, so the water was really, really cold, but I still had a great experience.

I loved my day here. The grounds and scenery are beautiful, with a big grassy area to relax in, an outdoor rinse shower, bathrooms, and friendly service. There are two pools: the spring fed one is usually in the 60s, while the larger pool, with a diving board, water slide, and shallow areas for little ones, was in the mid 70s. The snack bar had some tasty food and drinks.
