Four Points by Sheraton Cocoa Beach

Our room on the fifth floor was clean, smelled good, and had a partial ocean view. The hotel has been painted inside and out, and the hallways have new carpet. The parking garage was convenient. There’s a small restaurant serving sandwiches, pizza, and meals, with half-price drinks during happy hour. We had good nachos there. The first floor also has a nice store and a Starbucks. McDonald’s is across the street, and the huge Ron Jon store is next door. The beach is a very nice two- or three-block walk away. There’s a pool, though we didn’t see it.

Wendy at the front desk was lovely when I checked in, warm and welcoming, and answered my questions about the property. The suite was very comfortable and had everything I needed. I’d definitely come back.

Wendy at the front desk made us feel welcome right away with a real smile. She was kind, professional, attentive, and went out of her way to make us comfortable. The hotel was spotless and well managed, and check-in and checkout were seamless. Our room was cozy, quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. The location was great for exploring, and the whole place felt warm and inviting. Wendy turned a good stay into a great one. We’ll return and recommend the hotel to family and friends.

The hotel itself was fine, with a clean room and a great location. The food at the shark pit grill was really good, and the staff working there were great, but the restaurant was badly understaffed on all three visits. Each time, one bartender/server was trying to run the whole place. The waits were long, and tables stayed dirty for over an hour even when there were open tables. The server did a great job but couldn’t manage all that alone. Several groups left because service was slow, not because the restaurant was full. One night, customers felt so bad for the bartender that they helped clean tables and serve guests. A couple of front desk employees came to bus a few tables once, but why wasn’t help there sooner? I understand being short staffed once, but three times points to very poor management. This needs to be addressed. I hope someone reads this and does something.
