Sea Aire Motel

We paid almost $250 a night for the last room available over a long weekend, right beside reception, so I came away disappointed. At a lower price, I would have given it three stars. The room was clean and roomy, and having a kitchenette was useful. The beach location is great, with cafes and restaurants close by. The dated furnishings do have a bit of charm. But the window rattled loudly whenever someone nearby shut a door, and we had to wedge a pillow against it. In a room near reception, earplugs are a must. The lighting was awful, either too dim from one desk lamp or all neon, with no atmosphere. The shower curtain smelled, too. One evening there was only lukewarm water when we tried to shower at the usual time. The receptionist said to let it run for two minutes so the heater could restart. We tried ten minutes and it was still lukewarm, so their system clearly couldn't handle a full house.

I stayed at Sea Aire yesterday and loved how easy it was to step straight from the room onto the beach. The ocean view was breathtaking, and I could feel the sea breeze as soon as I went outside. It was clean and peaceful, with the waves adding to the relaxing feel. I've stayed in lots of places, but this one really stands out. If waking up to the ocean and unwinding is what you're after, this is a perfect spot. Highly recommend! 🌅💙

It's a great location, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, though they're outdated and really need an update. It was very quiet, and I enjoyed sitting on the swing at night, with the moonlight photo. I'll stay here again.

We'd happily come back to this quaint little oceanfront inn. The room was quiet and very clean, and it was lovely to watch the sunshine from the bedroom window. A few steps through the beautiful white gate and you're right on the beach. Definitely recommend!
