Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Coeur D Alene I 90 Exit 11, An Ihg

We needed a room locally for one night, and the price and amenities worked well. The room was clean and nice. The indoor pool and hot tub are open around the clock, and we enjoyed them, though the hot tub seemed to have too much chlorine, judging by all the bubbles from the jets. Fresh cookies were served from 7 to 9. The continental breakfast was typical, but Modera, I think that was her name, was a pleasure to talk with, very friendly and professional, and working nonstop. I saw her on the morning of December 28. The woman who checked us in around 4 p.m. on December 27, 2025 was super sweet too, though I wish I’d gotten her name. We enjoyed our stay and would come back if we needed a hotel, or recommend it to visiting family.

The breakfast was delicious and got our day off to a great start. Our room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. I had a fantastic stay and would recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy their time.

This place was horrible. We’ve stayed at 26 different Holiday Inns over three years, and they’re usually our favorite for the great service, cleanliness, and everything else we could ask for. Here, every staff member we dealt with was rude, unprofessional, and terrible. The pool and hot tub were disgusting and never cleaned. I could keep going, but I rarely write reviews. Save your money and grief, and just pass through. The worst.

We’re checking out today after a really great stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the included breakfast was outstanding. We usually stay next door, but after enjoying a Holiday Inn Express in Portland, we decided to try this one. It cost $50 less per night than our usual hotel. Our ADA room was well appointed, with a large shower bench, roll-in shower, and plenty of solid grab bars. Business travelers get looked after with a light meal and beer or wine Monday through Thursday nights. I’d forgotten my sleeping wedge, so we asked for four extra pillows and they arrived in minutes. The staff here are just really great.
