La Quinta Coeur DAlene - East #446

The front desk attendant was very friendly when we arrived. The room itself was clean apart from the previous guest’s beer left in the fridge, but our “non-smoking” room clearly used to be a smoking room and needs cleaning and paint. The place feels run down and is charging more than it should. Laquinta needs a remodel.

We were pleased with the jacuzzi tub room, and the rooms were clean and great. What brought it down to four stars was the hair in the tub, which was kind of gross, and how sparse the staff seemed. It felt like a ghost ship.

The place felt bad from the start. I was exhausted when I arrived around 9 p.m. on 9-3-2014, and the older man watching TV in the lounge turned out to be the receptionist. He seemed really bothered that I needed a room. The hotel was old, and the hallways and stairs were very dirty. I won't stay there again.

The internet was a letdown during our two-night stay. We couldn't get online at all on the last day, so be aware of that. Otherwise, it was very nice.
