Cohocton Valley Inn

The price is hard to beat, and the place has a lot of charm. It’s an older building with older fittings, so it does feel a bit like grandma’s house, but it’s been lovingly maintained. The owner was very friendly, and our room was clean with comfortable mattresses. With a double bed and a day bed, it worked well for a family trip to the country.

The little town is lovely, and the local store is only a short walk away. We were glad to find this welcoming spot, with clean, comfortable rooms and a friendly owner who was happy to help. It’s generally accessible, with a 29-inch-wide doorway, 1-2-inch steps into each room, and open space to maneuver. The toilets are average height, and the bathtubs are deep.

We stayed a few nights, and my children and I really enjoyed it. The owner was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the rates were very reasonable. A good choice if you like a country setting.

The beds were made up like proper beds, with printed flannel sheets, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Kim was very accommodating and knew a lot about activities in the area. It’s a retro kind of stay, and we really enjoyed it. The street was very quiet, and there’s a nice country restaurant just up the road. I was unsure at first because the price was low, but the great reviews convinced me to give it a chance. I’ll probably stop there sometime next year for the fall colors, and maybe wine tours.
