Quality Inn & Suites Colby

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The older building is showing its age, though: the TV kept cutting out and the bathtub wouldn't drain. They are building a new building next door, which may help explain things. My stay was a bit mixed.

I've stayed here three times in the past three years. It's easy to get to right off the Interstate, and getting in and out is simple. The room and amenities were great, and there was a good variety at breakfast.

The walk-in shower was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly. Everything felt new, clean, and comfortable. Easily one of the nicest places we've stayed.

The manager eventually gave me a $20 credit after we talked, but I won't stay here again. I was promised a call after telling the front desk about my concerns when we left, and never got one. Days later, I called the manager myself. He said they couldn't reproduce the AC issue, and I explained the details that could have been sorted out if someone had called me that day. The room was next to an outside entry, with people coming and going late and early. I kept waking up to conversations, bags hitting the walls, kids yelling, and smokers taking breaks by the door. The AC fan also wouldn't stay on constantly to drown out the noise. The toilet seat was loose, too. I booked a pet room while we were driving and asked for the total price before finishing the reservation. When we arrived, it was $22 more. They said it was my mistake, but we were too tired to find another hotel. I'll stay in Burlington next time.
