Days Inn by Wyndham Bryan College Station

We tried six different rooms, and every one had filthy mold, stains on the bed and floor, and a putrid smell. One room also reeked of weed. Don’t come here if you want to stay healthy. This hotel is absolutely disgusting.

Absolutely horrible. This place deserves an even lower rating. I was afraid to use the toilet. There was a dead roach stuck to the bathroom door handle, stains on the sheets, and toys left by the beds from the last 10 people. The A/C had mold, and it looked like the sheets probably weren’t washed. Fleas and flies were disgusting. No one was around to help, and there was no shampoo or soap in the bathroom. If I could give it zero, I would.

The location was convenient for TAMU, but all three rooms we booked for our event group had problems. We had to scramble for other lodging and wound up paying about $450 more. We did get a refund without much trouble, though the clerk didn’t believe there were fleas. The front desk staff were somewhat courteous and let us check in early. Still, we confirmed fleas in every room, and we’re DVM students. Two rooms smelled strongly of mildew, one had stained linens, and a door had a 1.5" gap at the bottom. The rooms need a deep cleaning and updating. I hesitate to pile on, but people should know.

The room hit us with a strong musty, moldy smell the moment we walked in. We tried to book somewhere else at the last minute after seeing the condition, but couldn’t find anything on such short notice. There were holes in the walls, a mirror that wasn’t attached, torn furniture and interior, a huge spider web on the ceiling, and a HUGE cockroach. The bathroom door was coming apart, and the shower and bath looked dirty. The pool was unusable, dark green, and clearly hadn’t been maintained in a long time. This condition and lack of basic maintenance and hygiene are unacceptable at any hotel, especially one costing $200 a night. Appalling.
