Springhill Suites Atlanta Six Flags

We had a really good, clean room, with a comfortable bed and a spacious shower that had a full door to keep water contained. The front desk team were welcoming, especially manager Lauren. They also recognized our ambassador status with a small bag of candy, snacks, and water, which was thoughtful. Parking was easy, the Wi-Fi worked well, and Six Flags was about a 10-minute drive away. The pool was the one letdown. The water was so cloudy we couldn’t see the bottom even in the 3-foot section. The rest of the property was spotless, so I hope that wasn’t typical. We stayed two nights while visiting Six Flags.

Tosha made a cold, rainy wait much easier for us. My husband and I had to wait for a room to be cleaned, as I’d called earlier in the week to check that this was possible. We were heading out with our luggage when she stopped us and offered to keep it until the room was ready. She called us when it was done and said our bags had already been taken up, so we only needed to show ID. I’d requested a bathtub for a specific reason, but we were mistakenly assigned a room without one. Tosha took care of it as soon as I started explaining. I don’t know her, but her warmth felt like home, and her firm, motherly manner showed she meant business. I really appreciated how thoughtful and attentive she was. People like Tosha make a big difference at the front desk. Thanks, Tosha. I’ll definitely come back to see you!

The hotel felt dated, even though my room had clearly been renovated. I didn’t care for the green carpet, especially when many hotels now use laminate flooring. The wall AC controller didn’t work either. The bathroom was clean, but using the shower was awkward. Its controls are on the right, while the glass door opens on the left, so I had to reach inside and get wet before I could adjust the water to the temperature I wanted. It was an okay stay, but the building still feels old.

The room was very dark, the TV selection was limited, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. The elevator was painfully slow for a three-story building, and the gym barely had anything, just one treadmill. I also felt unsafe coming back late at night because the parking area needs more lighting and has a lot of blind spots. I was only in the room for about 2-3 hours a day, fortunately. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
