Dirty counters and stained, soiled seats were the first things I noticed in the lobby. Photos were hanging right across from the front desk and the lobby and dining area. I’d booked by accident through my Hilton App, and at check-in the clerk was arguing with another guest. If that was the hotel’s best first impression, I could only imagine how clean the room would be.
6/10
The staff were really nice and professional, and the place looked clean. Still, my girlfriend and I woke up with red, puffy eyes and discharge. We suspect mold in the AC unit or some kind of germs in the bedding. The king bed was surprisingly uncomfortable, and the AC ran all night without cooling the room to the temperature we’d set. The ice maker on our floor didn’t work either. For the price and the hotel name, we expected more. We were disappointed and won’t be back.
10/10
We stayed four nights and would go back. Downstairs coffee was great, and the exercise room had lots of space and water. The staff were very friendly. The indoor pool felt a little cold at first, but once you got moving it was fine. The ice machine on the fourth floor was out, and one elevator wasn’t working. The other one worked fine, though, and the small hotel never got too crowded.
2/10
Erick gave poor customer service. He told me to come back at 2 p.m. to check in because the hotel had been booked the night before and early check-in wasn’t available, but he’d let other guests check in early. When I returned at 2, there still wasn’t a room for me, and another guest was checking in while I waited. I wondered if he was going to have three guests waiting with me. He didn’t. He started checking those guests in ahead of me.
8/10
The location off 121 near DFW airport was great, and the hotel has been remodeled. The breakfast and coffee were decent, and the staff were okay. One elevator wasn’t working, and the hallway carpet was bubbling up and could trip someone. The AC was great and the bed was always comfortable. I’d stay here again.
