Drury Inn & Suites St. Louis Collinsville

The bed was so comfortable, and the room was clean, with a bathroom I really liked because it had glass sliding doors instead of curtains. This was my first Drury Inn stay, and I loved the evening food. There were meatballs, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, soup, salad, nachos, hotdogs, soda and water. They even made popcorn, and you could head down for a bag or two. I'll look for Drury Inns when we travel again.

We left with all our things bagged up after finding more bed bugs in room 206. It started with an adult bug crawling on the pillow, and my husband put it in a bag. We called the front desk, but got almost no response. When I asked the girl there whether this happened often, she waited so long to answer that I got the impression it did, then said she'd never experienced it herself. We took anything that had touched the room and bagged it, using a cart and trash bags. As we were leaving, she wasn't even at the desk. This was one of several problems after we arrived, and I strongly recommend against staying here.

This was our second stay, and the place was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and knew what they were doing. We especially enjoyed the 5:30 kickback, which included three drinks per adult, and breakfast had lots of tasty choices and good coffee. We'll return.

The dining room service stood out during our short stay. Adeline and Linda were cheerful, kind, and attentive, and the young woman at the wine bar was lovely and helpful too. Ashley Avery, the General Manager, was just as cheerful. We hardly saw her sit down between helping guests and constantly tidying the lobby. Our third floor Deluxe King room was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and check-in went smoothly. It's a great location with excellent staff.
