We checked in Wednesday, and my wife made a point of asking whether we could stay through the weekend. We were told that was fine and to call by 11 Friday. She called at 10 that morning and was told they were fully booked. After asking a few questions, she hung up upset. I didn't believe they could really be at capacity, so I called from my cell to reserve a weekend stay. Joey at the front desk said there was no problem. He'd just spoken to my wife. I said I'd come in to pay, and when I arrived, he suddenly said there'd been a mistake and the room had been booked again. I asked for a manager or a number to call and was shown the door. Meanwhile, my wife was able to book the very same room on their website. We were already here, right next to the work site, and relocating as a parent isn't easy. I can't understand why an employee would lie on the phone and then to my face. I asked Joey if there was some other issue and said we were willing to work it out, but he insisted they were simply full. I'm offended and disgusted, and still waiting for an explanation. The property is in a less desirable part of the Springs, but it's maintained reasonably well. The room had the basics of an apartment, though it was dated and the furniture wasn't great. It was what we needed at the time. Still, don't book here if you expect honesty, respect, or decent service.
