Comfort Suites Colorado Springs East -Medical Center Area

Our room was spacious and clean, and the hotel felt modern and new. We got fresh chocolate chip cookies when we walked in. Breakfast had a huge range of foods, including plenty of hot options. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, though the pool itself is small.

The room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were friendly. The outside areas and pool were also well cared for and clean. The lobby furniture looks nice, and the lounge spaces are lovely, but the upholstery stains put me off. It needs professional cleaning or replacement. The floors in the lobby need replacing ASAP too. It looks like they tried to spot-clean the furniture, but that only made it look worse.

We’ve stayed here a few times while visiting family nearby. Our conjoined suite had lots of space, and the extra bathroom was helpful. The pool is small. There are a couple of fast food places close by, plus a grocery store.

Breakfast was good, but the tables weren’t cleared and cleaned consistently. The pool was fine, though it was quite dark because nobody had switched on the lights. Another guest asked for help with that, and it took almost an hour. Our AC also had problems, and it took a while to get someone to help because there was only one person at the desk. Staff seemed overwhelmed, stressed, and not very welcoming. There was a lot of sighing. Parking was full and nowhere near the hotel, so we left our car at a nearby business and hoped it wouldn’t be towed. Google Maps sent us to a neighborhood, and it took about 30 minutes to find the actual location. That was a mess because family were meeting us there.
