There wasn't anything outright terrible about this H2S, but so many small things were off that I wouldn't return. It's a bare-bones place in CS. The outside seating looks onto a shopping-center parking lot, and while being near I-25 is handy, you'll need the highway to reach the more interesting parts of CS. You may or may not get an answer when you call the front desk, and there may or may not be anyone there when you arrive. Housekeeping doesn't check whether the shower dispenser still has liquid soap, and nobody addressed the bathroom sink handle that had come loose. Breakfast was the worst part. The OJ tasted chemical, the coffee was subpar, and the eggs were awful. The bacon looked and tasted 3D-printed, and I spit it out after one bite. You may also have to track someone down for a plate, bowl, or juice glass.

The kids and dogs were happy here, and so were we. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the pool was great. Coffee and breakfast were complimentary.

We felt safe, and both the hotel and our room were clean. The room kitchen and refrigerator were handy, and Katy at the front desk was friendly and checked that we had what we needed. The location is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and Highway 25. The free breakfast didn't look appealing, so we skipped it. We'd stay here again.

I picked this hotel because it was very close to my spring point of interest, and I didn't expect much before checking in. It turned out to be a very nice stay: the room was clean, new, and comfortable. I'm not sure about the brand, but it should rank among the top three-star hotels. My booking was non-refundable, and I decided to leave a day early. I spoke with the front desk without expecting anything, but weeks later I received a proportional refund. It's now on my list for future trips.
