There’s a little shop for late-night snacks or medicine, and the hotel was easy to find. The price was good, it was quiet, and the beds were comfortable. It was fairly clean too, with a fitness room and laundry. I didn’t expect a stove, microwave, ice machine, and dishwasher, plus basic cookware and dishes. Breakfast is free, though small, and I appreciated having the option. The air quality was a problem. I’m not sure if it was the AC filters, but my boyfriend’s asthma acted up whenever we got back to the room. We skipped housekeeping because we weren’t staying long, but there was no delivery to the room, so we had to go down to the lobby for towels and extra toilet paper. One staff member was pretty rude to my boyfriend when he went to get supplies. Parking was a hassle too, since there’s no back entrance and we had to walk all the way around. I’d probably come back if my preferred hotel costs too much.

The room was much better than the website photos suggest: spacious, very clean, and it smelled nice. The bed was so comfortable I nearly ran late for work because I didn’t want to get up. Great hot water pressure in the shower, a large TV with lots of channels, and a kitchen area with everything I needed, including an ice maker in the freezer. The HDMI ports were easy to reach, which was ideal for previewing work on my laptop. Breakfast was great, with hot food, cereal, a make-your-own pancake machine, juice, and coffee. The location had picturesque views, especially from the back entrance at sunset. There’s a bar/pub a short walk across the road, plus restaurants nearby, plenty of parking, and an easy exit onto the main road. Trevor made the stay stand out. He explained what I needed to know and helped with a small technical issue. I passed reception a dozen times during my one-night visit and he always greeted me and chatted. He’s charismatic and nothing seemed too much trouble. When I left, he remembered my name and wished me well on my drive south. I’ve been working in different towns in Colarado this past week, and this place stands out by a mile. I enjoyed it so much that I’ll go out of my way to stay again before heading to England in a few weeks. A well-earned five stars.

The kitchenette and fairly clean, spacious rooms were what I liked at first. But my fridge’s ice maker was broken, the kitchen faucet leaked, and the can opener didn’t work, so I had to get my own. What bothers me most is that I asked for just 15 extra minutes to finish laundry and they wouldn’t allow it without charging me. I understand hotels need to make money, but I’d been there a week. I probably won’t return unless my job sends me back.

The staff were all friendly and easy to approach, and the price for two beds was very affordable. It’s clean, if not fancy. There’s a mini kitchen in the room for cooking on a longer stay, the gym is open 24 hours, and laundry is free. Breakfast doesn’t have much, but it’s free and still a nice extra.
