Super 8 by Wyndham Colorado Springs Airport

The people staying here seemed very comfortable, like they might live at the motel. Guests downstairs had people coming to their window to buy drvgs, and a guy across from us told a worker he had a bunch of guns. The homeless population around the hotel honestly felt scary. Our room was disgusting. There were around 30-40 burn holes in each blanket, burn marks on the furniture, a dingy smell, no toilet paper, and dirty towels. The sheets and shower curtain had random hairs all over them. During the week we were stuck here because they wouldn’t refund us, I found about 20 hairs in the blanket and shower curtain. The toilet seat was stained, and the curtains had what looked like burn holes or maybe peepholes. We had a newborn, but they wouldn’t offer a partial refund even though the room looked nothing like the ad. When we asked to move, they sent us across the street to the Days Inn, which was exactly the same.

The customer service has been perfect except for Maria at the front desk. She sits on her phone and keeps saying she doesn’t know or that something is closed. I asked for a bowl and she told me breakfast was closed at 11 at night, then said I’d have to buy one. All I needed was a bowl. She couldn’t even tell me her manager’s name, while other people have been able to help me. She needs training to assist hotel guests, or maybe a job that requires less knowledge.

I was there five days and never once got fresh towels or a refill of toilet paper. The room had long and short hairs all over it, and was gross in general. This is the worst motel I’ve stayed in. I’d say avoid it unless you have absolutely no choice. I’ll be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Just avoid this place. There was hair all over the shower, and who knows what was on the carpets. The towels had stains and hair on them, and probably hadn’t been changed since the last guest. You’d be better off sleeping on the street.
