Rodeway Inn & Suites Colton-Riverside

I've stayed here twice because the hotel has a contract with CR England. Both times, they said there was no room service and told me to notify the front desk a day ahead. During my first stay in Jan 2025, the sheets were stained and the room was dirty. The sink wouldn't drain. I stayed two weeks, and they changed the sheets once. I got a rash on my chest. I had to ask them to clean the floors because my feet turned black. The cleaner they used was so strong that I had to leave the door open for four hours. The second room had no microwave, smelled like old cigarettes, and had holes in the walls and stained towels. I saw a cleaning lady collecting towels but she passed mine by. When I asked, she said she hadn't noticed they were dirty, even though they were piled on the floor. I asked the front desk for an air freshener. They said they had a spray, but it took two days for anyone to come ask about it, and by then I'd gone to Walmart and bought my own. This is a terrible hotel. I wouldn't recommend it to the homeless.

The hotel's location worked perfectly for the event we drove into town for, but the things that made us book it were unavailable. The pool and hot tub were both out of order, and there was no breakfast. Our sheets were top sheets instead of fitted ones, with only a thin cover and no blankets. We couldn't adjust the AC temperature, and there wasn't a microwave in the room. Staff were friendly enough to bring fresh towels each morning, but that was about all. After a shower, walking across the floor left my feet covered in dirt and muck. This place is close to a one star hotel.

It's okay if you're here for business and only need somewhere to sleep and shower. I picked it over my usual place partly because I expected breakfast, but there wasn't any, and the hotel smells like cigarettes.

I arrived May 4, 2025 for three days of orientation with CR England, signing on as a driver, and was disappointed with the hotel. CR England needs to investigate this place. I got there around 12:10 pm, and since 3:45 pm I've been staying in my car in the parking lot. I was in room 117 and used a towel. My left arm developed a rash, like an allergic reaction. While sitting in the room, I also felt biting on my neck, legs, and all over my body. I told management there was a strong possibility of bed bugs and asked for another suite. They asked if I was sure it wasn't in my head, then refused to move me. I strongly recommend staying away for your own health.
