Wonderstone At Glacier

I’ve got to be honest in my reviews: I’m not a memory foam mattress person, so that was a very slight drawback in an otherwise GREAT stay. Whoever’s leading this local brand is doing a great job. It’s clear someone has thought through what travelers need, from easy check-in and a modern, sleek look to very clean rooms and complimentary snacks. There’s a bathroom light that comes on automatically when you walk in, a Bluetooth speaker, incredibly fast wifi, and fresh coffee ready to go. Wonderstone is bookmarked for my next visit!

We stopped in on a whim over Memorial Day weekend and got a room without any trouble. Check-in was quick and friendly. The property is really nice and updated, and the rooms were clean and well kept. We didn’t see much front desk staff in the newer building, though it seems set up more for self-service lodging. We’d stay again. It’s minutes from the west gate of glacier and just around the corner from downtown Columbia. falls.

The location was great, with a gas station in the same parking lot for drinks and snacks. We stayed three nights at this very clean, minimalist motel. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice having a separate entrance from the main doors. One odd thing: nobody came to freshen the room during our stay. I’m not sure if that’s not something they offer, but by the last day I’d run out of makeup wipes and cups, and the garbage was overflowing. Otherwise, I highly recommend the place.

Wonderstone was gorgeous, and I thoroughly enjoyed staying there. It’s in a pretty good part of columbia falls, and our upstairs room was quiet apart from the snow plows in the parking lot. We didn’t get much noise or disturbance from other guests, though I can’t speak to how it is downstairs. The bed was big and comfortable. A few little drywall and light fixture mounting touch-ups would tidy the room’s look, but it was very well done overall. As an electrician, I noticed some very weird switch and light placements, though those are fictional things to nitpick. Kalispell and whitefish are close by, both beautiful little mountain towns with surprisingly a lot going on. I’d stay again and recommend it to friends. frank was very friendly and attentive, with great recommendations for things to do in the area. Thanks, frank & Team, you did a wonderful job.
