Residence Inn by Marriott Indianapolis Northwest

We booked two rooms last minute for New Year’s Eve through the Bonvoy app, which was easy, and were glad to find a special rate at the Indy locations. Check-in was quick and the associate was very nice. Unfortunately, both rooms had problems. My parents, who are 87, arrived at 6pm to find their room at 58 degrees with no heat. We had to leave right away, and when we returned at 11pm it was still 58. The desk clerk quickly found them another room, which we appreciated since it was snowing and 25 degrees outside. But it was a pet-friendly studio rather than a two-room suite, so it wasn’t ideal. Our room had no working lights in the vanity area between the bed and toilet. We were too tired to do anything about it. These issues should have been checked before the rooms were rented. After many years with Marriott, we expected a bit better.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were great. The employees were wonderful, especially Peaches, one of the kindest hotel staff members I’ve met. The gentleman at the front desk in the morning was incredibly kind too.

We’ll be back. This is one of the cleanest Marriot hotels we’ve stayed at, and Peaches at reception gave us such a warm welcome and was great with guests. Breakfast wasn’t a large spread, but it had everything we needed, and the hot food was cooked wonderfully.

I stayed here for two weeks for work with my dog, and I’ll definitely return when I’m in the area. The rooms were comfortable, nice, and had what I needed for an extended stay. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. That was a real comfort during a very stressful time.
