Comfort Suites Columbia at Harbison

It's not fancy, but the price is good, breakfast is good, and the staff are excellent. The front desk, cleaning staff, and everyone else we met were great. The indoor pool is a nice extra, and the gym seemed well stocked though I didn't use it. It's convenient for several businesses nearby. We even found a Firestone tire so we could fix the flat we got on the trip. We'll definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at the hotel in Columbia SC. There was a problem with my reservations, but the staff were good as gold and helped straighten everything out. Great job, we'll keep staying at this location when we're in Columbia. Thank you 👍

I'm pissed. We drove two hours and had made reservations a whole week ago, but when we arrived on Valentine's Day, they said our room hadn't been cleaned and the manager didn't know when it would be ready. Check-in was at 3, and it was already 3:30. When I asked what we were supposed to do, he said I could have a room on the fourth floor if I didn't want to wait. Tired, I agreed. That room was muggy and smelled sour. We turned on the air conditioner and went to get food. When we got back, the TV had blue lines down its left side. I told the same manager who'd checked us into that room, and he said maintenance couldn't come until tomorrow. I can't believe that's how we were accommodated. I'm checking out tomorrow and will never stay here again.

Aside from the ozone smell, I would stay here again. The room was much like any Comfort Inn room across the country, but it had an extremely strong chemical odor we couldn't identify or get rid of. Manager James came by and said the room had been “Ozoned“ earlier, which was probably the source. He didn't offer a solution. We decided to stay, and although the smell remained, after a short while we stopped noticing it as much. The location is very convenient, right beside a Walmart supercenter, with every kind of store and restaurant within a 1 mile radius. It's also close to the interstate for easy access.
