Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Columbia, SC

After traveling all day from Florida, we really needed a good night's rest, and we got one. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices. We even tried a couple of pancakes made by the automatic machine, which was a first for us, and they tasted great. My wife and I had a lovely overnight stay at Columbia S arolina. It was very convenient to I-77, and our accommodations were clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The young lady who helped us with the arrangements that evening was very nice and made the stay pleasant. Thank you.

We'd stopped here to rest after a long drive, but within five minutes of seeing the room, we were asking for a refund. The lobby seemed okay, though the hallway reeked of mildew and marijuana. In the room, the pillows were brown, there was hair in the bed, and the sheets were stained. It was unacceptable and unsanitary. At the front desk, the employee was dismissive, called me a “girl,” and kept saying she couldn't get hold of management while dragging things out. The service was unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The price was affordable, breakfast was included, and getting on the interstate was easy. Check-in and checkout were quick and simple. From the outside, this older hotel doesn't look very promising, but the rooms were clean, had no bad smell or bugs, and the sheets and blankets were stain-free and smelled of bleach. The shower stayed hot for a long time, and the TV, air, and heat all worked well. Breakfast had pancakes, sausage, eggs, bagels, and more. I'd definitely come back if I'm in Colombia again.

The building and room looked a little dated, but I was happy with the choice. We had a comfortable bed, hot water, and a quiet stay, and the king suite was spacious, with its own living room area. I booked it at the last minute for a birthday getaway with my girlfriend, mainly because it was near the party we were attending. I thought I'd booked the hot tub room, but I hadn't. The first room's AC was broken, so I went to the desk. Natasha checked it herself and moved us to another room right away once she confirmed the problem. She was attentive, great with customer service, and I really appreciated her help. It's a good spot for an affordable, quick, quiet getaway, and I'd book again. If I do, I hope Natasha is there in case we need anything. People often want the cheapest stay and then expect more than their budget covers.
