For a budget hotel, I was more comfortable here than I have been in a long time, and the room was exceptionally clean compared with some other reviews. The employee seemed attentive: he noticed a guest might have left a door ajar and went to close it before I could. There were lots of cameras, and my room was right across from the lobby, so I felt safe. The door's bar latch was a little loose, but the door still latched and locked. I'd stay again for a night if I needed a budget place nearby, though not for a fancy getaway. The parking lot is VERY small, and we got the last spot. The bed had quite a few yellow stains, but there was a mattress pad and clean sheets, with no sign of bed bugs, so I was okay spending 8-10 hours there before heading to my next stop. The pillows were tiny, and I could have used another blanket, but I had brought my own. The bath had some stains, and I only planned a quick shower rather than a bath. Afterward I lowered my rating from five to four: the shower pressure was weak, only about half the holes in the shower head worked, and the drain wasn't working well. It didn't look dirty, but I wasn't fully comfortable, so I wore shower shoes. I always bring slippers for hotel carpets, and these carpets were somewhere in the middle, neither the worst nor the best I've seen. The table had been nailed back together, but I thought it had charm.

The staff were kind and courteous, which is about the only good thing I can say. My room was in very poor shape and smelled bad. The parking lot has huge potholes, so take it slow when pulling in, and it's very cramped if you've got a truck and trailer. I'd keep driving and find another place to spend the night.

On May 14th at 1:08 p.m., I dropped off a DoorDash order for a customer and asked the receptionist how to find the room. She gave me attitude. When I asked her on my way out not to do that next time, she cursed at me with the f word, chased me outside, and followed me to my car. If the people running the hotel have concerns, they can check the surveillance camera and see how she acted. I wouldn't stay here.

The whole hotel room smelled awful, and the hotel itself did too. The room looked like someone had taken a sledgehammer to it: holes, mud, and dirt on the walls, plus disgusting carpet. The bathroom was gross, with black spots in the tub, a drain that didn't work, and barely any water pressure. The sink, fridge, and microwave were all black inside. Breakfast was disgusting too, and the floor was sticky everywhere, not just in one spot from a spill. I'm absolutely never coming back.

The hotel was clean and a good value, and the night auditor was very friendly. Check-in was painless. I haven't tried breakfast yet, but the dining area is spacious and doesn't feel cramped. I'll definitely stay again.
