Quality Inn & Suites Ft. Jackson Maingate

Shamika at the front desk made our stay especially memorable. She greeted us warmly and patiently helped our group of ten get organized, including making sure we could have breakfast before our road trip. Traveling with that many people can be stressful, but her kindness and help made things much easier. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with what we needed for a good night's sleep. The one problem was a broken bathroom door in our room. The location was convenient too, near restaurants, gas stations, and stores, which made it easy to eat, refuel, and get back on the road. We had a wonderful stay at Quality Inn & Suites Ft. Jackson Maingate and would consider coming back when we're in the area.

I got a refund right away, and the front desk woman was friendly. When we arrived, though, one bed had blood and mold on it, and the other had hair all over it. The AC smelled foul, there were a lot of sketchy people outside, and a gap of about two inches under the door let daylight show through.

The pool was great, and my wife, kids, and I had a good time. It was easy to deal with the front desk, the price was cheap, and the washer and dryer worked. The location is convenient too, about 5 to 10 minutes from everything. I'd highly recommend it if you're on a budget.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. The front desk agent was unfriendly and gave a really bad vibe, like she hated her job. One housekeeper was very nice, but the other staff seemed just as unhappy. Even after I requested a late checkout, housekeeping and maintenance were still bothering me at 11 a.m. There wasn't a phone in the room or a “do not disturb” sign.
