SpringHill Suites by Marriott Columbia Downtown/The Vista

It’s the people who make MARRIOTT the best of the many hotel chains we belong to. At the desk, Ashley and Cierra greeted us warmly. The rooms were magnificent and really clean. In the morning, Ms.Shirley took care of everyone and everything. She was so sweet and kind, with sunshine-like energy that brightened everyone’s day. People like her are why we’ll use Marriott from now on!

The breakfast had a huge range, from waffles, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, and porridge to just about anything you could think of. The hotel was really clean, too, though the elevator was a little dirty. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown, with everything nearby, and it’s kid friendly. The staff were amazing. Shout out to Ashely and Sydney, who said good morning every day and welcomed us whenever we came in. We’ll definitely return. Thanks so much, Ashely and Sydney. Trust, I hope you both get a raise!

Southern hospitality came through everywhere, from the front desk and room attendants to the complimentary breakfast bar. Deborah and Lawrence prepared a delicious breakfast and made me feel welcome, like we already knew each other. I’m looking forward to another stay.

The breakfast spread in the dining room was nice, with coffee, tea, and even hot cocoa available. The room was otherwise in good shape, though a few small things from a previous guest had been left behind. We also had a water pressure problem: the bathroom sink shot water out really hard.
