The pillows weren’t to our taste, but the room itself was nice and clean, and the staff were nice too. The shower pressure was really good. Check-in and check-out were easy. We didn’t drive, so places were a bit far from us, but Uber and Lyft were available any time of day. The hotel also offered an airport shuttle.

The next morning I found a bedbug crawling on my daughter’s pillow. I hadn’t even been looking, but we found two in total. I put them in a cup and showed Chris at the front desk. He came in to check the room, then walked out without saying anything. I had to ask what he planned to do. I asked for a refund for the night and was told I’d have to wait for the manager, but they couldn’t tell me when he’d arrive. I’ll keep calling until this is resolved. The first room had a bed that smelled like pee when we pulled the covers back. They moved us after I asked twice, since the staff, including the manager, were busy talking about what they’d done the day before. In the replacement room there were stains everywhere and something spilled on the door that my toddler was touching. We didn’t get the new room until midnight, with my baby ready to sleep, so I had to clean it up myself. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Look at the photos and think twice before booking. Don’t make our mistake.

The high school groups staying here were loud when we were trying to sleep and rude in the hallways. I picked this hotel because I was looking for a place with breakfast included, then got the kids up early only to find out the food cost extra. Over $200 for one night and no breakfast included is insane. The pool was freezing, definitely not heated. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The hotel has a 1970s 80s look, with the ambience of an old Soviet Hotel, and Matt was supportive and helpful when he checked us in at night. There are kind people working here, which makes the condition of the place all the more frustrating. The parking lot is huge, dark, and scary, with hardly any lights. Around breakfast time, two of our Family members got stuck in an old elevator on the eighth floor. I told the front desk it was a crisis and we needed help. They said they’d called someone, but kept checking people out as if nothing was happening. Fifteen minutes went by. Staff kept mentioning an elevator mechanic, who didn’t seem to be on the Property, and nobody appeared to know what to do. I ended up calling the fire department. They arrived promptly, and just before they got there the elevator unstuck. Our Family members had been trapped for 25 minutes and were panicking. The hotel didn’t seem to have a plan for this kind of emergency. We were told our room points would be returned, but they weren’t. The room coffee pot didn’t work either, and even though we’d been promised late checkout, our key stopped working after 11 A.M. Staff couldn’t get it working again, so a janitor had to unlock the door with a tool. The infrastructure needs proper care and updating. That isn’t the fault of the genuinely kind people who work there.
