Our house caught fire, so finding somewhere to stay was incredibly stressful. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, kind, and so accommodating. They understood we’d just been through a disaster and did everything they could to make sure we were looked after. The rooms were super clean and nice, breakfast was amazing, and the hotel is very pet friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A special thank you to Kat brown, lamonica parker, and misty rice. You helped make a disastrous situation manageable, and I can’t thank you enough.

I want to thank the woman working the front desk on January 12, sometime between 2 and 3 pm. My family and I were facing the tragic loss of my son to suicide, and she went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel loved. I’m sorry I don’t know her name. She was amazing, and Hilton is blessed to have her. I’m truly honored to have met her. Thank you for the kindness you showed me and my son, and for being the beautiful woman you are. I’m sorry it took me so long to say this.

The room was spacious and had a small kitchen, and breakfast was quiet. The location is close to downtown and it’s pet friendly. Those are the good points. Alexis also truly tried her best. She offered to lower the rate, let me check out early without paying for that night, give me points, or provide a snack. None of that got me a shower. For my entire stay I had no usable water. At first there was none at all, so I couldn’t even wash my hands. Later, there was only ice cold water. Nobody warned me before check-in. I found out from a note in the elevator. Not being able to use the water in a hotel room for an extended period is a complete service failure. The front desk experience was bad, too. I wasn’t greeted, was interrupted several times, and when asked for my ID, I was told, “I don't touch people's IDs,” with a face. There were q-tips in the trash that weren’t mine, and I was cold because I couldn’t adjust the temperature. Breakfast was poor: questionable egg patties and chicken nuggets were the only protein options, the sausage listed was nowhere to be found, and there were no fiber options. It was bread, waffles, and cereal. My flight turned around in the air on the day I was due to arrive. I emailed the hotel to explain that I’d be there the next morning because of circumstances outside my and the airline’s control, but I was charged a no-show fee on top of the room charge. Not all the front desk staff were rude, I hope, but I’d planned to stay here again and won’t. I definitely don’t recommend it.

After a long workday, I’d want somewhere nearby to get a glass of wine, but there isn’t much around this hotel. I travel often for business and have stayed at plenty of HIlton2 Suites, so I was surprised this one missed the mark. The area felt sketchy, the rooms were dated, and I didn’t feel safe walking alone at night. The front desk staff member was nice but unhelpful when I asked for information about nearby places. They printed a TV channel list that was missing channels, though I found them on the TV. I was also told there were “no good views,” so it didn’t matter which room I chose.

Alexis at the front desk was helpful every day and gave us good suggestions for places to eat. The hotel was a great part of our Ohio trip. Our room was roomy and laid out beautifully, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was hot and ready each morning. I loved the potato wedges, and my girlfriend was happy with the waffles.
