La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Columbus I-70E/Reynoldsburg

We left shortly after arriving because we didn't feel comfortable staying in the room. I'd booked two nights through Expedia, but we checked out about 30 minutes after checking in and never stayed overnight. The floor had visible dirt and debris, and the beds had crumbs, stains, and dog hair. There was mildew in the shower, and a strong smell of cigarettes, marijuana, and mildew throughout the room and hotel. The cleanliness was far below what I'd expect from a Wyndham property. The front desk employee was rude and unhelpful when I raised the issue and asked for a refund for the unused second night. I was led to believe the request would be approved after Expedia contacted the hotel, but the hotel later denied it. I rarely leave negative reviews, but other travelers should know what happened. I've filed a complaint with Wyndham and am waiting for a response. I wouldn't stay here again.

The front desk lady was so nice that I’d happily book here again. My room was quiet, comfortable, and really clean, with plenty of outlets and USB ports. The bathroom was a good size, with a nice walk-in shower, and there was a big closet too. This hotel deserves a higher rating.

I spent two nights here and had a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the place was well maintained. Management was professional and attentive, while the staff were consistently polite and ready to help make the stay memorable.

I’d give this zero stars if I could. They won’t cancel my reservation or refund me, and they claim someone else had been staying in the room I used for two weeks. It feels like they’re taking people’s money for themselves. Do not book here.
