La Quinta Inn & Suites Columbus West - Hilliard

Muhammed at the front desk was the one bright spot. He was kind and helpful, and seemed to care while everything else was going wrong. Both rooms had toilets that overflowed and then wouldn't flush, there were ants all over our room, and the pillowcases had visible stains. The shower had no body wash, either. Our stay at La Quinta Columbus West felt like a survival challenge. Unless insects, plumbing problems, and mystery stains sound appealing, I'd stay somewhere else.

Breakfast had lots of options for everyone, and there’s a small workout room too. The pool looked nice, right across from our room, though we arrived late and left early so couldn't use it. Everything was perfect, no complaints. I’ll stay again if I’m in the area.

Moe was awesome when we arrived really late the other night. He checked us in right away, was attentive, and made sure we were comfortable. He told us to ask if we needed anything and that he'd be there until 7. The room was clean and roomy.

The room was noisy, too. We could hear the hallway and people walking on the floor above us. We had to ask the desk for towels because there were only two hand towels in the room, and they never changed them. The next day the towels were removed without replacements, and the bed wasn't made. I've stayed at several La Quintas, and this was the worst. I don't recommend it.
