Varteesa was wonderful after we’d had a really bad experience at another hotel. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and looked after. She was kind, professional, and accommodating, and her empathy and attention to detail turned around what had been a stressful stay. We’ll be back for my son’s next graduation in March and plan to stay here again. Thank you, Varteesa, for helping restore our faith in great hospitality!

There are lots of food places, shops, and gas stations nearby, and the AC, heat, fridge, microwave, and TV all worked. But the rest of our stay was awful. People I found sketchy were hanging around the parking lot, watching us and making noise at night, so it was hard to sleep. The outside stairs and hall were dirty. I didn’t explore the lobby because the desk woman had friends eating on the couches, and they’d parked right in front of the door. She wasn’t rude to me, but seemed annoyed to be there and loudly smacked gum while showing no professionalism on a customer call. The room was hot, musty, and dirty, like it hadn’t been opened or cleaned for weeks or months. The toilet had been used and left uncleaned, there was hair in the shower drain, and the bathroom was so small the door barely opened. The beds seemed to have been flipped to hide a huge dark brown mystery stain across the mattress top. Sheets had what looked like cigarette burns from the maid, carpet was dirty, and the very outdated furniture hadn’t been wiped down. I had to clean the room myself. The appliances worked, though the AC smelled. They only seemed to “clean” when we were out. I found my things moved the first time, but nothing had been cleaned. The last time, only 1/3 of the mini trashes were taken out. We paid about $250 for 3 nights, although the online payment was more than double that. Reservations said only one room was available, yet there were about 7-8 other people in the whole building. We left for another hotel after the second night. In the morning, they used leaf blowers right outside the doors and woke us, but it was still dirty when we came out. There was no handicap parking, and maintenance parked behind us, making it hard to leave. I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel, especially for anyone traveling alone or with kids.

Check-in was all smiles, but the room was a letdown. Hair from previous guests was left on the floor behind the doors, the shower floor felt like something was on it, and the shower head didn’t work. The front desk lady was nice, but took away breakfast while we were still eating and seemed to lack common sense. The manager or owner was rude, even though he was good with kids. Two out of five.

We spent good money on multiple rooms for 3 days for our nephew’s Army graduation, but didn’t get basic cleanliness or service. The rooms were filthy, with roaches and dust everywhere, and nothing seemed clean. The microwave was gross, the beds were TWIN size when we expected otherwise, and nobody came to clean during our stay. A family member is allergic to dust, which made the stay miserable. When we asked the front desk for towels and sheets, they told us to find a cleaner ourselves. We never got them. It was a nightmare, and well beyond unacceptable. Families expect a clean, safe place to stay.
