Super 8 by Wyndham Columbus

The first room hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, so we were moved. In the replacement room, the window faced an interior hallway instead of outside, and we had to keep the blinds shut so people couldn’t see into our room. Next time we visit family in Columbus MT, we’d rather drive 1/2 hr and stay somewhere better.

It’s convenient if you need to be in Columbus, though I thought the price was high for what you get. The rooms have been renovated and ours was nice and clean, but the bathroom was tiny and the bed bothered my back a bit. Breakfast was disappointing, with no fresh choices except naval oranges, but it’ll do in a pinch. There was no hair conditioner, just 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash, and we got hand towels and body towels but no wash cloths. 🤷‍♀️

I was a little unsure when we arrived because the hotel shares a parking area with a Pilot Truck Stop. Check-in was very efficient, though, and the hallways and our pet room were clean, with no pet odor and a comfortable bed. Despite the 18-wheelers, the lot, nearby rooms, and hallway, we couldn’t hear any noise. We did hear a train in the distance a few times, but it wasn’t loud. I’d stay here again if I’m back this way.

I’m heading up north for a funeral, not for work or a vacation. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff were so nice and helpful. God Bless them.
