The first room smelled of cigarettes even though it was marked non-smoking. Within five minutes, we'd killed at least eight roaches on the first floor. We told the front desk right away, and they apologized and gave us another room. There were no roaches in the second room, but a few stragglers remained in the hallway. Breakfast and staff were great. For $52 a night, we couldn't complain too much. We needed a pet-friendly place, and the other pet-friendly hotels nearby charged twice as much. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

For an inexpensive hotel, it was decent: clean, quiet, and staffed by friendly, helpful people. The free breakfast tasted better than I expected. The toilet trip lever broke in the middle of the night, though. We left too soon to report it before checkout, so I can't say how quickly they would have responded.

It's an older hotel, but I'd stay there anytime. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. More than anything, the staff were amazing, from the front desk and housekeeping to the bartenders. I've stayed in dozens of hotels, and this was easily my best experience. Thanks for everything, Clarion Inn Columbus, Georgia!

We came to Columbus GA for a wedding, and this was my first visit. We were booked at another hotel, but the customer service there was horrible. Someone recommended Clarion, where we were welcomed by friendly, professional staff. The room was cozy and clean, with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast the next morning was fresh and tasty, and the staff were friendly and funny. We really enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was cold and overcooked, and sometimes food was missing or had run out. Still, we enjoyed our stay and will be back. The front desk ladies were very nice, and housekeeping was pleasant.
