The staff were lovely and Restaurant Town Hall was great. But the nightclub on the 10th floor kept us awake on both Saturday and Sunday nights, with bass that seemed to shake the walls. If you’re after late nights, drinks, and partying, you might like it here. I’ve had enough of that and wanted to rest, so I wouldn’t stay again.

The elevator setup is strange, so just ask someone for help if you need it. We got a free drink at check-in, the staff were excellent, and the bar team was wonderful. Our room was clean and smelled great when we arrived. There may be some leftover rooftop bar or club noise on the upper floors, though the sound machines in the rooms help muffle it.

This place works well for a certain kind of traveler, though it isn’t really suited to an experienced business traveler. The rooms are on the small side, and the work surfaces are usually a fold-down wall desk or a little tripod table. On the plus side, the staff are fully focused on guests and check-in is quick and easy. The Commissary, or grab-and-go shop, has plenty of snacks and drinks, there’s Lobby Coffee, and the bar is the main attraction, with really good seasonal drinks. Great location, atmosphere, and amenities.

The location is hard to beat, and the downstairs restaurant is quite good, but I’d never come back. We stayed two nights and nobody cleaned the room or brought fresh towels. There’s no closet, just wall hooks, and no in-room coffee maker, bottled water, body lotion, or bar soap, even though there’s a mini fridge. The rain shower had no cap to keep your hair dry, so I had to use the handheld shower. We were on the seventh floor and could faintly hear the first-floor bar and restaurant until closing. It feels like basic amenities were cut to make the hotel seem hip, and there are better options in the same location.
