The location was just right for my first time in Columbus, close to downtown and easy to get around on foot. The room was a decent size and somewhat clean, though it could've used a better sweep. The sheets seemed clean, but there was visible patchwork on the bathroom ceiling. There were dryer sheets in the AC, the lighting was very dim, and the ice machine was broken. It felt a bit expensive for the room, but I knew what to expect when I chose the cheaper hotel in the area.

I've stayed here several times and plan to keep coming back. On this visit, I was there for two nights. The staff were really friendly and check-in was quick, with no wait. The room was clean, had plenty of space, and the beds were comfortable. It's a short walk to Nationwide Arena and lots of other places, with plenty of food options nearby.

Parking is the one thing keeping me from giving this five stars. They charge an extra $19 a day, which would've added up fast for a week. It wasn't much of an issue for my two-night convention stay, and I suppose that was better than paying $30 for the garages. The rooms were a decent size and very clean, and the helpful staff easily sorted out any issues I had. The convention center was only a short walk away.

My room was clean and comfortable enough, which is about the minimum I expect from a hotel. The only complaint is the parking charge. A safe place to leave my car should be part of the room price, not a surprise extra fee at check-in.

The bed bugs were completely unacceptable. My wife and daughter came home with bites, and I want a refund because this hotel wasn't worth the money. I can live with the other problems: the bathroom sink was gross and clogged, its handle was broken and hard to use, the light above it was burned out, and the TV turned on but wouldn't change channels. I reported the room issues at 10 p.m. Friday, but maintenance didn't show up until 4 p.m. Saturday. I'd give the place zero stars if I could.
