The room conditions were awful: there were roaches, hardly any breakfast, and I found a tooth in my sausage. That was the last straw. I was booked for two nights, but shortly after breakfast I got a call saying I had to leave because “the fire marshal would be coming” and the owner was “paranoid” about my 3 children and 2 visitors. My children were respectful and well behaved. I've never been told to leave a hotel because my kids needed a place to sleep, and the whole thing felt discriminatory and completely unprofessional. Things had already started badly when I called with a simple question about incidentals. The front desk attendant, Kimberly, got frustrated, spoke rudely, and hung up on me. I should've taken that as a warning. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. I'd strongly advise people to stay far away.

We got a double king family suite for $51 plus 6000 Choice Hotel points, and the beds were comfortable. The room was huge and clearly had just been renovated. I liked the LVP flooring, no grubby carpet, and the bright, clean lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast was nice, though it was sausage only, no eggs. We didn't use them, but there was also a nice pool and laundry facilities.

The room was filthy, with cockroaches behind the bathroom doors and bedbugs in the sheets. It was a nightmare. The staff were awful and spoke to us like dogs. Honestly, this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I absolutely don't recommend it.

Our room was clean, though the mess in the pictures is ours because I forgot to take photos when we arrived. The only real problem was the three different spiders we found. We came for a University of Georgia game, and the hotel was a straight shot to Athens. There were lots of nearby gas and food options, plus a nice shopping plaza with different stores, including some outlets. Our son loves comic book shops. We visited three during the trip, two in Commerce and one in Athens, and they were all super nice. The photos are from just one shop.

There was trash and old food under the furniture below the TV. They also charge a $70 fee to use their items, so bring your own towels, paper towels, and bedding. Then they accuse you of damaging the property before they've even washed anything. Don't stay here. I'm giving you a real warning before you book.
