The firm mattress gave us a comfortable night's sleep, with no back pain. The hotel has been renovated, and the bathroom walls looked newly redone, so the room felt almost like a brand-new place. We checked in late, around 8 PM, and the front desk woman was friendly and welcoming. She made a great first impression, and we had a very satisfying stay that felt worth the money. The only small snag came around 9 AM, when housekeeping started. The cleaning cart noise outside our room made it hard to keep resting. The hotel could consider improving that.

It was comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced. I saw no sign of the foundation problems another grumpy reviewer mentioned. This is a typical old roadside traveler's hotel that's been modernized, and while it shows some wear, it worked well for our family and pets. There's a big grassy area, plus a BBQ spot, and they should include it in the photos. On the language issue, a mild foreign accent isn't something to complain about. Sometimes I have trouble understanding thick American drawls myself.

The location is great and the rooms were clean. We booked less than a week ahead, and the listing said breakfast was complimentary, but when we checked in we were told breakfast was no longer offered. That's false advertising and needs to be corrected. It's a very nice hotel, though there is no breakfast.

Everything is clean and works, and the hosts are kind and accommodating. People mind their own business, so I can just relax. I've been coming here for years whenever I need a cheap place to stay. It's my go-to budget-friendly, pet-friendly spot.
