I enjoyed my stay in Room 203. There were plenty of places to eat in the evening, and Walmart was only a short drive away. The water pressure was great, and the toilet was huge, with a strong flush that would feel reassuring if sharing a room. The room was clean and smelled neutral, with no damp or harsh cleaning-product odor. I couldn't find signs that cleaning had been rushed. The paint and plaster showed a little age, but the room didn't feel run down, even with renovation work going on around me. I did miss the modern touches I expect when traveling, like USB ports by the bed and newer lighting. And since it's easy to spot from the road, don't expect much quiet.

My brother lost his home in a fire, and people in the community helped put him up here. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and the staff treated us like family. They were amazing and so accommodating. I work in customer service too, and the kindness of the hotel employees restored my faith in humanity. I'll definitely stay here whenever I come to Concordia.

There's a one-mile jogging loop across the street, and the Orphan Train Museum is well worth visiting. Of all the Holiday Inn Express locations I've stayed at, this may be the best maintained.

The king suite was roomy and comfortable, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Breakfast had plenty of options, with a very clean dining area. Front desk staff were helpful and really friendly. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.
