Days Inn Conneaut

It’s easy to explore both east and west of Conneaut from this quiet, convenient, safe spot, and the location is perfect for seeing the Lake Erie area. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and the rooms larger than most, though the bathrooms felt a bit cramped. The front desk guy on the 3-11 shift was awesome. Highly recommend.

I can’t believe this motel is open. There was blood on the bathroom door, gnats everywhere, dirt and food splattered on the shades, curtains, and walls, and mold in the tub and shower. The mattress was filthy, and there were no garbage cans or bags. It advertised a continental breakfast, but there wasn’t even coffee or water. This was easily the worst motel I’ve stayed in. Absolutely disgusting, it should be shut down. The room a few doors down from me was unbelievable too. Do not stay here.

The people were nice, but breakfast was short on options and one person seemed to be handling the whole area. Coffee, milk, and popular items like waffles ran out. If you drink tea, bring your own. I skipped the bread slices, which were wrapped by hand in plastic and looked soggy. The hotel feels old as soon as you walk in. Our room smelled bad, and the carpet had lots of stains. The bathroom was dated and rusty, with just one tiny shampoo bottle and a small soap bar for a room advertised for four. I was surprised this was part of the Wyndham hotel family; I expected a minimum standard.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was bigger than usual, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, the bathroom was a little small, and the price was great. It’s near the interstate but we didn’t hear the traffic. The staff were very helpful.
